The GripStand is a new case for the original iPad that features removable hand grip and table stand. The grip pops off by squeezing two tabs, fits the hand well, and is nicely adjustable for sitting on a table. The GripBase is an accompanying product that mounts onto the same case and functions and an upright stand for the iPad. The GripBase turns a full 360-degrees on the table, and also rotates the iPad for portrait or landscape. The removable accessories gives the case a modular design and allows users to perhaps leave the GripBase at home/office and the GripStand piece on the go. The modular design allows too perhaps a future iPad 2 version so you could just pick up the case and keep using the other accessories. Also, the tab removal has a real nice solid feel to it. The Jacket iPad case from STM (.95 from RadTech) is a promising carrying bag for the iPad. The case is pretty slim and features a large pocket for documents and accessories, a second zippered deep pocket, and a third pocket intended for an iPhone or iPod. It has a detachable shoulder strap and a single hand strap. The zippered main compartment is lined with a plush microfiber interior. Style-wise, the case has blue accents on the zippers, stitched logo, and interior. Overall the case seem of good quality and is attractively priced. In my previous video I had some major gripes about the VGA Dongle for the iPad — once again, JailBreaking makes a WORLD of difference…Someone told me about this cool little app from the Cydia AppStore called Display Out…it actually mirrors the iPad’s display and also won’t interfere with apps that already have native VGA output support. The app is not free, it costs .99 — very reasonable imho…makes a world of difference and actually makes the VGA cable worth the money.
