Leather Illuzion iPad 2 Sleeve from SGP (Review)

The new Illuzion from SGP is a soft leather sleeve style case for the iPad 2 and also the original iPad. The case features a real soft natural leather with a soft quilt-like interior. The interior is a microfiber Chamude material that looks to provide great protection. The case also has two magnet clasps to keep the cover closed while in transit. In addition to holding the iPad, the Illuzion can fit the iPad 2 with the Apple Smart Cover, allow users to run with both accessories. When the iPad is in use, SGP suggests users can prop the iPad up on a Smart Cover, and use the sleeve as a wrist rest. The Illuzion is available in White, Black, Lime, Dante Red, Solaris Orange, Sherbet Pink, Tender Blue (pictured), and Vintage Brown. It lists for .99. www.sgpstore.com

Otterbox is known for its multilayer protective cases, and the company has just starting to ship its new line of iPad cases. The Commuter is the lighter weight brother to the company’s Defender case. The Commuter is available in black for .95 and features three layers of protection. The case has a rubber jacket that wraps around the iPad and includes protection of all ports and controls. An exterior shell then covers the rubber for additional protection. To top it off, the case ships with a screen protector. The Commuter also features a removable dock access door which allows the iPad to dock while in the case with accessories such as Apple’s iPad Dock and iPad Keyboard Dock. www.otterbox.com
